時間快到了(time is almost up)‏

That is how it is on the mission, there is never enough of it to do all that one wants. Elder Peng and I have grown to be very good friends, I am really sad to be leaving, but that is how it goes. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the cake. I hope that I can always have the charity and love that each of my companions will feel. This mission really is a proving grounds for all the best and worst parts of my character. I'm sure when I come home I will not be the same 沈義謙 that left nearly 7 months ago. I have been able to accomplish so much and learn so much. I have also forged so many new friendships that I hope will last much longer than the short few weeks I am in the area. As for the area...
張智棠 is probably one of our best, but he doesn't want to be baptized quite yet because of his father, though he found for himself parts of Nephi that talk about keeping the commandments and the Lord providing a way. He has developed a very good habit of reading and praying that will help him to be baptized when he is ready. 林玄德 has been really good, completely giving up smoking is hard for him, but he is willing and striving to live all the commandments. This week we finished teaching him the lessons so now we are just strengthening him as he continues to quit and come to church. We also recently started teaching a 簡弟兄 (Bryan) he is looking for something solid in his life. He has been focusing on an upcoming test and what has really helped him is the ability to be a part of something. I hope that he finds the joy of gospel as well as attending church.
We have been able to teach some very different and good people recently, although there have still been losses. The man who runs the bookstore said that he wasn't quite ready, though we did read with him about King Lamonhi's father and committed him to whole heartedly ask and, if he does, receive an answer. He is good and is truly seeking.
I was talking to a man on the side of the road. I said that there is only one God and he said that I couldn't say that, that I must respect other's beliefs. In essence he was doing that exact opposite of what he was saying. In telling me that I couldn't whole heartedly and bravely believe and preach my religion he wasn't respecting my believes. All true followers of Christ must submit, as Christ himself said, "This is life eternal, to know the one true God and Jesus Christ whom thou has sent."
I know that this work is true and I am ever grateful for the atoning sacrifice of the Savior.

Love,
沈義謙
