This has been a very long week but a very good week. I think the most exciting thing that I was able to be a part of is that we took one of our recent converts out with us a missionary for almost 2 full days. He is incredible! He is already an agent and brought so much as we were contacting and teaching. He had such an enthusiasm and love for the work. While we were with him we saw some of the greatest miracles I have seen here. The biggest being the change he has made. His final prayer before he left us Saturday night was incredible, his testimony and resolve is so strong.

Let me explain some of these pictures. The one with Spongebob is Elder Ahpuck. He is from Hawaii, and some of the members and missionaries that were with us that day wanted a picture of him next to that because he has done hula dancing before. (I've seen it, he's pretty good.) Another picture at the theme park where I got to eat a funnel cake, I also had a pretty good burger a little later. The very first picture is from the happy drink station. There was a new drink shop that opened up so I had to try it (there are so many drink shops).

This last one is from Saturday. We had the best beef noodles around and ti was bonus to have all the sets of horns around us. This also ended up being a place the spirit led us to see some miracles. We went outside and said a prayer and decided on going to a night market (but we never made it there). The first people we talked to we taught and set up to meet again. After them we started going again to this night market but my companion wanted to turn around and talk to a man and woman. We started talking and eventually came to find out that he had a Book of Mormon and had met with missionaries before. He was excited and said he has been suffering recently and really needs this.
I know that this work is true. I am serving the Lord, and I am willing to wear out and waste my life in his behalf. I know that we have living prophets who literally know God (just as we can), and who tell us of his true nature and plan of happiness. I know that my Saviour and Redeemer Jesus Christ lives. I know the Book of Mormon is true and is the word of a loving Heavenly Father.
All Love

Hello,I stumbled across your blog clicking the 'next blog' button and after reading for little while I found myself wondering whether you have a job as well as teaching or if you are paid to be a missionary?
I'd be very interested to know, thanks. Harry.
Missionaries from the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints do not have paid jobs while they are serving, nor are they paid to be on a mission. In fact, most missionaries serve a mission at their own expense.
