Song of the post, "Pinch Me" by Barenaked Ladies.
Unfortunately for me my indie and alternative collection isn't very indie or alternative, but I make do. How can one have vibrant music taste with too much depth in any one genre? Luckily for me I have been open minded about what I listen to and have discovered some great things in almost everything I have listened to (my favorite band is still Tool though).
Portland and Seattle were great this last weekend, it was really nice to see come cousins I haven't seen for a while as well as my grandparents. I also fenced and felt I did ok, but didn't do my best. I lost the first round of direct eliminations, as well as losing many pool bouts that I should have been much more prepared for.
Today I went into physical therapy for my left Achilles Tendon. Junior Olympics is coming up and I want to be able to compete sufficiently so that I can have done something like that that before my mission. On that note time is just flying, I am already down to 2 months before I leave; there is still plenty to do.
I've been playing Dead Space on the iPad, I was blown away with how well it was put together, I have had some control issues, but that is mainly because I am not paying attention to how I am holding my iPad and then I get upset at the Necromorphs for not just dying. I really like the overall look and gameplay, it runs smoothly and immerses me well.
Audible is not your Grandpa's book on tape.
