Friday (Begining of the Weekend Edition)

Song of the post, "Lights Out" by Breaking Benjamin. It's an interesting song, but I decided to listen to "Cosmic Castaway" again.

I've been looking up tons of Kierkegaard quotes and I've found some pretty sweet ones:

"Patience is necessary, and one cannot reap immediately where one has sown." -Soren Kierkegaard

"It seems essential, in relationships and all tasks, that we concentrate only on what is most significant and important." -Soren Kierkegaard

"If I am capable of grasping God objectively, I do not believe, but precisely because I cannot do this I must believe." -Soren Kierkegaard

"Faith is the highest passion in a human being. Many in every generation may not come that far, but none comes further." -Soren Kierkegaard

"It is so hard to believe because it is so hard to obey. " - Soren Kierkegaard

I guess I'm just so excited to get Fear and Trembling to read; also to embrace the fact that I am really an existentialist when it comes down to it. It's a good thing I have a strong sense of the morals that I have. That phrase 'Life is meaningless, and then you die' actually makes sense. I might be a little too optimistic for this though. I'm more of a pre-existentialist or a Christian Existentialist I guess.

Now "Mr. Blue Sky" is playing; it's pretty funny. Well have a great weekend. I should be able to update on Sunday.
