K, so here's why you need to learn a few things:
1. Socialism is NOT what people say it is. Socialism is a system of government in which people EQUALLY redistribute wealth in order to stop personal greed and the unfair treatment of those who (unlike you) don't live comfortable lives and have to work their asses off to pay the rent.
2. Your ideas of socialism come from a semi-communist government that formed in the USSR. Vladimir Lenin was an idiot and believed that the people would not rebel unless there was a group of people called the Vanguard who would lead the rebellion. He didn't read his Marx. I got a feeling you haven't either.
3. Brian has an excellent point. The type of socialism that works is the one in EVERY SINGLE FREAKING WESTERN EUROPEAN NATION. Guess what? The nations with the highest standards of living are in Scandanavia. Did you know that (gasp!)they are the most socialist nations on the planet? They are the closest thing out there to Marxism right now, and guess what? They have NO POVERTY, NO ILLITERACY, and NO CUFFING WARS. Ya like them apples?
4. Not saying I don't like McCain. However, Obama has the right ideas on a ton of stuff. Take abortion. The first Democratic candidate to actually support (literally support) better sex ed and more contraception and adoption education to stop unneeded abortions in his platform. Give gays full rights. Work to stop poverty. CUT taxes. Cut programs that are not needed. Stop the Iraq War, which he (not any other person who is currently running) disagreed with from the start, and even if he didn't , he'd be right to oppose it. It's just an example of how American exceptionalism has become sadly rooted in our culture. We are not always right. Cambodia bombings anyone? Vietnam? That's just the tip of the iceberg. We need new leadership.
5. Sarah Palin is very possibly the incarnation of George W. Bush as a young woman. Which proves you have Oedipus Complex as well. But seriously, she is
-supportive of churches that believe in witches. I'll go on a Rev. Wright convo with you cause HE WAS RIGHT. We brought this upon ourselves sadly by alienating the rest of the world through American exceptionalism.
-Unbelieving in man-made global warming. John McCain agrees with that! There is something wrong with denying the facts....
-unable to carry on a conversation that is not scripted. Every single question she answered during the Veep Debate was answered because she threw the question back into her direction.
"Do you want to answer Senator Biden's comments on energy independence"
"No, I want to talk about taxes."

In conclusion:
Learn your history: socialism is the most effective form of government in the world. Funny side note about Scandanavia: they ELECT their socialist government EVERY SINGLE YEAR. Elect. Democratically.
Read a little more about Barack: he's the best. See above warrants.
You actually support a woman who's more famous as Tina Fey's impressions of stupidity than someone who can think for herself? (Read Barack's books; he believes in himself)
You need to realize that your little capitalist world is falling apart as you speak. Deregulation. Corruption. War. Poverty.
